Counter Information

I am an Auction Submit user. How do I add counters to my listings?: If you are using the free Auction Submit software to submit your auctions:

First Sign Up for your counter account.

Open Auction Submit and select the 'Counters' option in the 'Edit Defaults' sub-menu under the 'Options' menu

Select the 'YES' option under 'Add Counters When Submitting Items?'

Enter your User ID for your Shoporium.com Counter Account Name

Select a counter type (invisible or visible)

Click the SAVE button

Once you do this, a counter will automatically be inserted at the bottom of every listing you submit with Auction Submit.
I do not use Auction Submit. How do I add counters to my listings?: To manually add Shoporium.com Counters:

First Sign Up for your counter account.

For visible counters insert the following into your Listing. Be sure to replace "YOURUSERNAME" with your registered Shoporium Counter User ID

What does it cost to use these counters?: The counters are free.
How do these counters deal with repeat visits by the same visitor?: The counters will count every visit to your listing including repeat visits by the same visitor.
I am a registered seller on Shoporium.com. Do I have to also register to get my counters?: Yes. The counters are a separate function, however, if you desire, you can use the same UserID and Password that you use for your shop.
How do I monitor my counters?: Each registered counter user is assigned a "Counter Home Page" that summarizes all counter data. To access this page just go to http://www.shoporium.com/counters/login.php3. If your counters are submitted with Auction Submit, each counter will appear on your "Counter Home Page" when it is first added to a listing. It will be identified by the listing title, and will be sorted by site. If you manually insert a counter on a page it will appear on your "Counter Home Page" after it gets its first hit and will be identified by the URL of the page that it is on.
How long will each counter be displayed?: Counters self expire from the "counter home page" after 8 days have elapsed without a hit.
